Megan Losik is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Megan’s patients describe her as gentle, while motivating and exploring growth. With over five years of post-graduate experience, Megan has worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide variety of concerns, specifically disorders of the gut-brain connection. She received her Masters of Social Work from Wayne State University, where she gained clinical experience in a variety of hospital settings and worked on hospital units, including medical intensive, complex care, inpatient psychiatric, and emergency department. With this as her foundation, her patients greatly benefit from her ability to be an active part of her patient’s care team. Her ability to meet her patients where they are in their journey of recovery is supreme and beneficial to their improvement. The GI Psychology team is here to support you in accomplishing your goals and resolving your problems. Rather than forcing your goals to fit into specific treatments, our clinicians aid and guide your healing through a combination of treatment models by tailoring them to what you need for success. Your experience and needs are unique; your therapy should be the same. By utilizing evidence based treatments, our clinicians can help you take back control of your thoughts and improve your understanding of how your environment might influence your behavior. GI Psychology specializes in Disorders of the Gut Brain Interaction and utilizes evidenced based treatments in order to treat them; specifically Clinical Hypnosis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. All of our clinicians are well versed in working along side you to maximize your physical and psychological recovery and growth.
